Overview
Puchberg is only 50 miles from Vienna at the Eastern extreme of the Austrian Alps. It has a long standing reputation as a climatic health resort.
Skiing at HochSchneeberg above Puchberg is largely thanks to the laborious construction of a funicular railway up from the village more than 110 years ago.
